This document describes how to integrate Trace, RedMetric, ServiceInstance, and Topology data from Skywalking into Syncause.
- You need access to a running Syncause service to complete this tutorial. For instructions, please refer to the "Setup" section.
- You need a running Skywalking service instance.
- Access Syncause's
Ingestion>External Data Sources>Skywalkingto create a new Skywalking data type.

Setup Guide
This integration requires only basic connection parameters. Simply fill in the following fields with information from your environment:
- Address: The service endpoint or API address for your data source (for example, Tempo, Prometheus, or SkyWalking).
- Username / Password / Token (If applicable): The authentication credentials required to access the service.
Once all fields are completed, click Save to register the integration.
